Sweet 185 is Charleston’s Premier Sugaring Studio, Wellness Spa and Boutique. Our Sweet Spot is located in the Hot Spot of Downtown, the Upper King Street Design District! We offer Organic Facials, Holistic Massage, Oxygen Therapy and host Private Events, in addition to a full complement of over 30 Sugaring services, from Brows to Brazilians.

Sugaring, which dates back to ancient Egypt, leaves your skin naturally smooth and hair-free. It removes hair in the direction it grows and exfoliates naturally with a room-temperature sugar, lemon and water paste by our highly skilled sugarists. Sweet 185 began with two sassy Charleston moms, Marilyn Roe and Christina Mikolajcik, who had the same philosophy: “be kind to your body…and be kind to somebody else.” It’s a philosophy that values caring for the spirit as much as the body. We have three dedicated and licensed massage therapists who take their work very seriously. Each practice holistic massage but they also specialize in a number of different techniques including hot stone, reflexive, deep tissue neuromuscular and craniosacral: that way we tailor massages to each individual client’s needs.

Our chic and earthy studio also features a quaint boutique offering exclusive items such as Natural Sea Sponges, Organic Soy Candles, Apple & Bee bags and natural and organic products hand-picked by us to compliment our other services.
